The 2021 Nissan Rogue arrives with quite the eye-pleasing exterior. This year's edition of the Rogue features:

- A retouched backside

Otherwise, not much has changed as previous iterations of this rugged SUV were visually quite impressive in their own right.
Interior
Hop on in the new Rogue and you will feel like a king in an automotive castle. The large center stack features an easy-to-use LCD monitor and several slim vents. Touch the rounded climate and audio control knobs and you will find they respond with the perfect level of sensitivity. Previous Rogue owners will notice that this year's version of the popular SUV has a reshaped steering wheel.
Opt for the Platinum Reserve trim and you will enjoy lovely quilted leather seating. The front seats have ample bolstering that provides considerable comfort even on lengthy road trips. Passengers in the second row enjoy plenty of free space thanks to the reclining and sliding seats that are adjusted along a 9-inch track. There is even a third row with significant leg room to accommodate additional passengers. The second and third row seats can be split and folded for additional room. A total of 70 cubic feet is available behind the front seats. Exactly 32 cubic feet is available behind the second row. Slightly more than 9 cubic feet of space is available beyond the third row.

Performance
The Rogue is powered by a 4-cylinder, 2.5 liter engine with 170 horses. This engine is paired to a continuously variable transmission. There is also a hybrid version of the '17 Rogue with a 4-cylinder, 2.0 liter 30-kw electric motor. Its lithium-ion batteries generate a net output of 176 horses. The Rogue Hybrid provides upwards of 34 mpg. The non-hybrid version provides up to 28 mpg combined with 33 mpg on the highway and 26 mpg on city streets. New Rogues equipped with all-wheel-drive attain 32 mpg on highways, 25 mpg on city streets and a combined 27 mpg.
Safety
Step on into the new Rogue and you won't fear for your safety. This is a fairly large vehicle that can withstand the majority of collisions without suffering extensive damage. The '18 Rogue earned the designation of Top Safety Pick+ by the IIHS thanks to its best possible ?Good? crash test scores. The federal government awarded the new Rogue four stars out of five in terms of safety.
